Create a weekend designed specifically for you. Whether you choose a beginning or an advanced track, stick with one style or explore many, or study with teachers you know or ones your aren’t familiar with, one thing is for sure, this is your own path. You will forge new friendships, deepen your relationship with yourself and delve further into your own ever-evolving practice.

Track Levels for Conference

Contemplative - (C) Students of all levels are welcome. Classes will focus on philosophy, insight and meditation.

All Levels / Beginners - (AL) Students of all abilities, from beginner to advanced, are welcome. The instructor will provide modifications and variations to accommodate students of varying skill and flexibility. This track is particularly relevant for people with injuries, limited abilities or are new to yoga.

Intermediate/Advanced - (IA) Students should be comfortable with Sun Salutations and basic standing poses (such as Triangle, Warriors I and II, and Tree) and have a basic understanding of posture sequencing and breathing techniques. Students should have developed a degree of balance, flexibility, and endurance that allows them to begin refining the postures—including forward bends, backbends, twists, and inversions. Students should be familiar with the bandhas and pranayama techniques.

Teacher Training - (TT) For teachers or teachers-in-training only. Students should be familiar with anatomy as related to the particular class topic and be able to do and/or understand advanced poses. Topics will be addressed at an advanced level; prior or concurrent enrolment in a teacher-training program is required.
